Stringing Updates & Advice

A fresh restring can make a bigger difference to your game than most players realise.

Over the past few weeks, our stringing team has been busy with a wide range of setups, from full polyester for frequent string breakers to softer hybrid options for players looking after their arm. If your racket feels dull, harsh, or inconsistent, chances are it’s time for a restring.

As a general guide, restring as many times per year as you play per week. If you’re unsure what tension or string type suits you best, we’re always happy to advise and tailor a setup specifically for your game.

All restrings are carried out on our professional-level machines to ensure consistency every time.

Footwear is another key area. Extra layers and damp courts in winter place different demands on shoes than dry summer hard courts. Making sure your shoes still provide enough grip and support can help prevent unnecessary slips and injuries.
