We are professional, full-time
Tennis, Badminton and Squash stringers. Based in Cambridge
and Huntingdon, we
string over 2500 rackets a year. Karen
is a member of the Bow Brand Wimbledon stringing team
- 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007
and 2008. Mark
is a member of the Yonex
International Stringing Team - All England 2005,
2006, 2007, 2008, European Team Championships (Greece) 2006, European Championships
(Holland) 2006, European Team Championships (Holland) 2008, Surdiman Cup
(Glasgow) 2007, Swiss Open (Basle) 2008, Europe Cup (Holland) 2007.
Both Karen and Mark have passed their
Master Racket Technician (MRT) exams and are one of the few 'husband & wife'
MRT'ers in the world!
There are 100's of strings
on the market today, we have listed the strings we always keep in stock, but we
we can always get your favourite string within 24 hours from our suppliers if it is not
listed. We string for many county and national players, many of whom like us to use their
own string, which we are happy to do. We will always carefully check your frame and advise
you of any damage or recommend that you need new grommets or bumper strips - both of which
we can supply and fit. We use Babolat electronic
machines at each of our pro-shops - we
can use our
manual machine if you prefer.
You can send us your racket for stringing - we charge our
normal prices (below) plus £5 return first class 'signed for' postage.
We also have a number of collection points for you to drop your racket
off for restring - see our "where are we?"
